Triple Star were engaed by the developer as both the project and construction manager responsible for full delivery, including fitouts. The project was delivered ahead of time and under budget.
A 3 storey commerical building on a tight site with a culverted stream running below. This project was a joint venture development between the developer and the local Senior Citizens Association. The Senior Citizens occupied the middle floor of the unit titled building, with the top floor to be fitted out for office use, and the Ground Floor for Retail.
Specific Challenges on this project:
- Extremely tight budget and programme in Central Otago winter
- Bridging the sub structure over the culvert and piling on an old stream bed
- A Significant value engineering requiring a design build approach
- Unit title and resource consent requirements
