This commercial development is situated adjacent to our Triple Star office and workshop on Glenda Drive in Frankton. This building will provide four individual tenancies containing light industrial and service uses on the lower levels and ancillary storage and office space above.
With a total GFA of 758m2, the development includes three tenancies of 145m2 and a larger tenancy of 323m2.
A unit title subdivision consent has also been granted for this development to eventually enable each unit with allocated parking spaces to be contained within its own title.
The building design is of a simple form and a palette appropriate to its industrial setting within the Frankton Flats. Generally building construction materials and technologies have been selected to enable an efficient and cost effective build comprising pre-cast concrete panel external walls, timber framed internal walls, concrete slab ground floor, concrete rib and timber infill first floor, coloursteel roller doors, steel beam and purlin roof structure with insulated Kingspan steel roof cladding panels, GRP clear profile sheets and aluminium window joinery.
Our construction programme is on track with completion due in January 2020.
Overall, this project is an excellent example of a quick and cost-effective commercial build.
